The word BILTONG is derived from “BIL” (Buttock) or meat and “TONG” or strip. Meaning just a strip of meat.
Our biltong is made from the finest A grade cuts. Our biltong is 100% natural. Sugar, Colouring, MSG and Additive FREE making our products one of the healthiest snacks available on the market. We have our own processing facility to supply our different outlets and clients with a wide variety of gourmet snacks to choose from. Our biltong processing is done using a traditional curing and drying method enabling us to provide a selection of lean, fatty, chunky, sliced, thick, thin, spicy or plain biltong for your enjoyment. Perfect for a snack, catering or resale.
We use a unique range of spices, hand selected making our gourmet snacks unique and tasty. Our biltong products consists of three categories BEEF, PORK or GAME. Whether you are looking for a snack or meal supplement, biltong is the best alternative packed with nutrition and protein. Because biltong is more than 50% protein, contains amino acids which helps with muscle growth and regeneration, contains few carbohydrates and contains little fat, vitamins A,B,D,E and is rich in iron, selenium, magnesium and zinc it is ideal for people with special preferences.
Due to our biltong making process and advanced packaging methods it can be stored for long periods of time without any form of refrigeration and will not lose freshness or taste. Our range is elegantly packaged making it convenient for storage or travelling.

Galaxy Biltong Factory
We only use Super A grade silverside. We cure and air dry our snacks to perfection with utmost delicate care. We don’t believe in compromising. Our recipe is a combination of a unique blend of spices, the result of years of testing. Our snacks don’t leave a fatty residue on your pallet, merely a satisfying experience leaving you yearning for more….
We are strict on quality, hygiene and temperature control which combined enables us to provide the best quality products to our client at an affordable price and ensuring a long shelf life.
Our factory is ultra modern, isolated and Halaal Certified. All our staff are qualified and trained.
We manufacture a comprehensive range of BEEF and GAME biltong. Our products are prepared, packaged and retailed, in pre-packs, bulk or cater packs. All our products are manufactured, prepared and packed in-house.

Raw biltong takes approximately 24-36 hours to be ready losing ± 40% - 50% of it’s raw weight

Medium biltong takes approximately 36-48 hours to be ready losing ± 50%-60% of it’s raw weight

Dry biltong takes approximately 48-56 hours to be ready losing ± 60% - 70% of it’s raw weight
Orders can be placed Monday – Thursday from 08:00am to 16:00pm. Deliveries are done Monday to Friday nationwide. All orders must be paid in FULL prior to delivery.
